Best selling health author Jessica Sepel is on a mission; to help Australians take control of their eating habits and improve their relationship with food. To do this we worked with her startup, JSHealth, to design and launch an innovative digital product that champions a balanced, nutritious lifestyle and shows Aussies how to love their bodies.

Project Information

Initial workshops and user research uncovered the product features we needed to build. It also gave us an understanding of the behaviors and needs of the consumers we're building for. From there we architected the app and visualised the user flow of the experience. Our experience design was a process of discovery, design, and further discovery. We worked closely with Jess and her team to ideate and design. Along the way, we constantly tested our thinking and designs as low fidelity interactive prototypes. The visual design of the app was a development of Jess' existing brand, so all touchpoints were consistent and aligned in their look and feel. Photography is a huge part of the aesthetic, so we set the art direction to ensure it worked in harmony with the design work. The App launched to rave reviews and was featured by Apple in their Weekly Favourites. Through the app an engaged and tight knit community has developed, committed to healthy and mindful living.
